Remembering Tom Howe
Tom Howe passed away on October 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by family. Tom was a dedicated Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle to many.
He served the City of Chicago proudly and passionately as a Paramedic and Firefighter for 37 years, retiring as a Lieutenant from Engine 57. In addition, he spent 20 years helping to usher others on their final journey at Smith Corcoran Funeral Home with a team who became part of his family.
He loved the outdoors and especially being on the water in his boat with family and friends. He will be remembered for his love, dedication, and service to others and his joyous personality.
